National Team
Austria has participated in every Medieval Combat World Championship since 2012. Until 2024, the Austrian national team was newly assembled each year. Since their initial participation the Austrian athletes have achieved notable successes at various World Championships.

- 2015: 2nd Place 1 on 1 – Longsword (Men)
- 2016: 3rd Place 1 on 1 – Longsword (Women)
- 2019: 3rd Place 1 on 1 – Sword and Shield (Men)
- 2019: 2nd Place 1 on 1 – Longsword (Herren)
- 2019: 3rd Place 10 on 10 – Buhurt (Men)
- 2024: 3rd Place 1 on 1 – ProFights Middleweight (Men)
National Team Roster *new*
Starting with 2025, the ACA is shifting it's focus towards developing a multi-year National Team roster. Membership in this roster will not be determined solely by performance at a single qualifying tournament but by the applicant’s year-round dedication and commitment. A panel of three experts will oversee roster appointments.
The National Team roster will be managed within a dedicated association (ÖMC-K | ZVR 1450662396), streamlining processes such as travel arrangements, insurance, and funding. Leadership and supervision of the roster will fall under the newly created role of National Team Coach. The administration of the roster association will be managed collaboratively by the National Team Coach and the ACA’s Head of Sports Development.
