Medieval combat encompasses many aspects. To represent this diversity externally and to develop targeted internal measures for various groups, the ACA is organized into distinct sections and special divisions.

Each section is represented by a head of section based at the ACA administrative office, who advocates for the interests of their specific field to the ACA’s presidium and board. Additionally, specialized divisions are established as needed, with appointed division experts. This structure enables the ACA to better address the needs and challenges of clubs within each field and to provide targeted support. In turn, this benefits both athletes and officials as well as enhances the public image of the sport as a whole.

The breakdown into sections and specialized divisions creates greater transparency, enables more efficient use of resources within the federation, and is intended to position the medieval combat sports in Austria for a sustainable and future-oriented development.
