We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Data is processed solely on the basis of the GDPR and Austrian data protection law. Below we inform you about the most relevant aspects of data processing on our website.

2. Visiting the Website and Server Log Files
When visiting our website, the following information is automatically stored in server log files:
- anonymized IP address
- date and time of access
- pages visited
- browser type and version
- operating system
This data is technically necessary to display the website, ensure stability and security, and for error analysis.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest).
Cookies and Tracking: We do not use cookies and we do not use tracking tools at all.
3. Contact Form and E-Mail Contact
When you use our contact form or send us an e-mail, the data you provide (name, e-mail address, message, optionally phone number) will be processed solely for handling your inquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) a and f GDPR.
Data will not be passed on to third parties without consent. Data is deleted after the request has been handled unless retention obligations require storage.
4. Newsletter
You can subscribe to our newsletter by providing your e-mail address (and optionally your name).
- Subscription: Die Anmeldung erfolgt durch einfache Eingabe der E-Mail-Adresse (kein Double-Opt-In).
- Unsubscription: Sie können sich jederzeit über den Abmeldelink im Newsletter abmelden.

- Logging: Mailchimp records subscription details (time, IP address) for documentation.

5. Publication of Member Clubs and Regional Federations
To foster transparency, we publish information about our member clubs and regional federations:
- club name
- register number (ZVR)
- location and federal state
- contact e-mail address
- links to social media and websites
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest).
If personal addresses (e.g. personal e-mail addresses of officials) are published, this is based on consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR).
6. Rankings, Results and National Teams
As part of our sports operations we publish:
- competition results
- national rankings
- national team lists
The following data may be published: name, year of birth, club/team, gender (if applicable).
For minors, publication is only permitted with the consent of their legal guardians.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) b and f GDPR.
An objection to publication is possible (Art. 21 GDPR).
7. Photos and Videos at Events
At ACA events, photos and videos are taken for documentation and public relations (website, social media, press).
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest).
- Information: Notice is given on site (signs/announcements).
- Portraits: For individual portraits or interviews, consent is obtained (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR).
8. Disclosure to Third Parties
Data is only passed on where necessary to fulfill our association’s tasks or legal obligations, e.g.:
- Sport Austria, regional sports organizations, international federations
- funding authorities (ministries, cities, federal states)
- cooperation partners and service providers (e.g. IT, printing, streaming)
9. Storage and Deletion
Personal data is only stored as long as required for the respective purposes or due to statutory retention periods. Afterwards, data is deleted or anonymized.
Rankings: current season is displayed prominently, older seasons are archived.
10. Rights of Data Subjects
You have the following rights under GDPR:

- erasure
- restriction
- objection
- data portability
- withdrawal of consent.
